How to set up Telegram

  1. Open Telegram and chat with @BotFather
  2. Send /newbot, follow the steps — copy the token
  3. Open your new bot and send it any message
  4. Visit api.telegram.org/bot<TOKEN>/getUpdates
  5. Find "chat":{"id":123456} — that's your Chat ID
  6. Fill in the fields and click "Send Test Alert"

How to set up Email

  1. Use any SMTP provider — Gmail, Outlook, SendGrid, etc.
  2. Gmail: use an App Password (enable 2FA → create app password)
  3. Host: smtp.gmail.com, Port: 587 (TLS)
  4. Username is your full Gmail address
  5. Password = the app password (not your Google password)
  6. Fill in the fields and click "Send Test Email"
